FIRSTLY

Early Labour.
this will usually last for 2-6 hours, in exceptional cases, it will last for 24 hours.
contractions of regular intervals will take place in the mother's womb.
become gradually frequent and stronger.
this will also results in the removal of the mucous plug, which acts as a barrier between the vagina and the uterus.
this will finally result in the rupturing of the amniotic bag.

SECONDLY

Delivery.
cervix of the mother will dilates.
from 3cm.
TO 10 CM.
so big!
the baby's head will come out of the cervix slowly.
as the head is flexible, it can get elongated, just to get out of the cervix.

THIRDLY

Placenta Delivery.
the baby is delivered with it head out of the cerivx first.
umbilical cord is then cut and tied.
quite short for this stage.

LASTLY

Rapturing Membranes.
powerful contractions causes the placenta to detach itself from the uterus.
in some cases, the placenta tear and might cause bleeding.
however it is rare.
